Our client is to be newly opened investment bank in Macau, they are now looking for talents to join their team.
HR Assistant Manager / HR Manager - Investment Bank
Responsibility:
Become proficient in the Bank's Payroll processing lifecycle, including the main functional concepts, applicable labour laws, salary processing rules and overall employee landscape, acting as focal point to external payroll provider.
Act as backup on the second line of payroll processing, being capable of working with a series of tools, executing detailed verification of each payroll processing cycle, ensuring the calculations are correct.
Capable of calculating the salary structure and projected costs of any given position (used for offer letters and budget exercise).
Participate in annual promotions, salary revisions and variable remuneration distribution, preparing any related output required for senior management analysis.
Participate in the annual budget exercise, both at the departmental level (HR) as well as transversely (overall staff costs).
Effective management of employee data and administration, including admissions, departures, position management and respective policies and procedures.
Take responsibility and follow up on inquiries directed to HR from other departments.
Produce regular and ad-hoc reports which require HR, payroll and /or compensation inputs, effectively liaising with Head office.
Develop a Branch Procedures Manual, covering the whole of procedures of HR.
Participate in annual salary surveys.
Requirements:
3+ years in previous related role.
Degree in Management, Finance, Economy or HR Management.
Previous experience in HR and qualifications regarding Knowledge in HR Best practices within the Banking Industry is desirable.
Knowledge of local Labour Laws is desirable.
Fluency in English (mandatory).
Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Very solid with numbers, analytically inclined and detailed oriented.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Capable of discretion and possess good ethics, due to the confidentiality and reservation required in HR Compensation, Benefits and Payroll related topics.
Excellent knowledge and control of MS Office tools mainly Excel and PowerPoint.
Solid knowledge of Banking / Financial Service sector, understanding the distinction between a Bank's Business Lines, Control and Support areas is a plus.
