Project Manager, Payroll (6 Month Contract - Macau based)


  1. Understand the user requirements of the project from the HR Manager and Asst HR Officer while also liaising with retail team and finance on matters such as cost allocation reports.

  1. Prepare business proposals covering the following areas;

    1. Vendor Selection

    2. Creation of a vendor evaluation matrix according to established requirements

    3. Perform due diligence on selected vendors

    4. Ensure compliance to the group IT guidelines on system landscape

    5. Preparation and submission of Capital Expenditure request

    6. Present relevant findings to the Steering committee towards the most optimal solution

  1. Project Management

    1. Manage and coordinate ongoing project plans, budget, resources, internal project team and vendors

    2. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements and documentation.

    3. Proactively manage and communicate ongoing changes in project scope, identify potential bottlenecks and devise contingencies

    4. Change management

    5. Project cost control/budget management

    6. Ensure that the HR Department can clearly define, sign off and provide their requirements to the assigned vendor

    7. Ensure that the project requirements are fully understood by the vendor team

    8. Ensure that the project timeline is reasonable and well defined according to the project's scope of works

    9. Manage and review progress timelines and milestones with the vendor

    10. Manage internal resources accordingly

  1. Prepare progress review meeting to Steering committee

  2. Ensure appropriate training is conducted to users including HR, Brand Managers, Retail Managers and Shop in Charge

  3. Monitor the parallel run of the payroll for 3 months and follow up accordingly




  • Minimally 8 years of experience in Payroll processing with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management position

  • Experience in dealing with payroll vendors is a must have

  • Relevant project experience will be an added advantage

  • Ability to communicate business needs to IT requirements will be an added advantage
