Assistant - Payroll (20 hours/ week)

 POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Assistant Officer – Human Resources (Payroll), the incumbent is to assist payroll team in handling separation cases in the Group in accordance with local legislation rules and regulations. Responsibilities include inputting payroll data into the system (SAP) as well as maintenance of the payroll filing system. In addition, he/she is responsible for all administration related to payroll issues.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a general assistant to Payroll Team.
• Handle final payment for all Team Members and ensure that is correctly and appropriately paid in compliance with Macau Labour Law.
• Maintain payroll filing system in line with a quality standard.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of final payment.
• Maintain balance controls for all systems and payroll deductions.
• Assist Team Members on payroll issues with courtesy and in an expeditious manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rules, regulations, legislation, technology, and procedures governing payroll.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters.
• Perform other payroll related duties as assigned.
• Perform external payroll assignments such as to DSF, and to other Government departments where necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduated or above.
• At least 1 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll or Finance field.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Chinese Word processing, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of local Macau labour laws and regulations is an advantage.
• Good in interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
