Operations Manager

Reporting to Head of Macau, you will lead and manage an operations team of couriers and warehouse assistants to ensure express inbound and outbound shipments are properly handled in accordance with company procedures and standards.

• Monitor team and subcontractor performance to ensure high productivity and quality service to customers
• Coordinate with regional and Hong Kong teams as well as external parties for shipment processing and transit time status
• Work with Macau Customs Service and ensure full compliance of laws and regulations
• Cooperate with other internal teams to ensure quality services to customers
• Manage root cause analysis for operation issues and establish corrective actions
• Review daily operation workflows and initiate improvement plans
• Plan and manage allocation of manpower and resources based on business needs to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure safe working practices and environment for employee work safety
• Prepare performance statistical reports and initiate actions for continuous improvement

• Degree holder in Logistics, Supply Chain or other related disciplines
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in transportation/ logistics operations with at least 3 years in manager role
• Customer-oriented with strong business acumen and influencing skills
• Strong leadership skills in driving team performance
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to liaise with external customers as well as internal parties and work under pressure
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Proficient PC skills
• Travelling to Hong Kong is required
