Assistant Event Manager

Job Description

  • Take charge in the implementation of the company’s MICE (Meeting, Incentive Travel, Convention and Exhibition) and special events
  • Invite businesses, government departments, associations, clubs, traders and consulates for potential collaborations
  • Meet with all banquet, conference and exhibition organizers and solicit potential businesses
  • Communicate and coordinate with hotels and casinos regarding their promotional events; also propose strategies and plans for improving the MICE business
  • Attend various events and ensure that the targeted markets and audiences are effectively attracted to the promotions
  • Establish and maintain good collaborative relationships with the relevant personnel and parties from the Event industry

Job Specification
  • Degree holder of Event Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences
  • Proficiency in Adobe (Photoshop & Illustrator)
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous, detail-oriented and a proven ability to multi-task
