助理經理 - 軟件開發 Assistant Manager - Development

 Job Description:

• Establish software development process and guideline
• Lead and manage a team of development specialists which provides application development, maintenance and support to core Gaming and Non-Gaming enterprise applications; Handle medium to large scale in house software development projects
• As the Technical Lead to participate in the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment phases of development projects
• Perform technical evaluation for software selection and vendor's proposal
• Responsible for all software application development initiatives on various platforms such as client-server, web, mobile platform for both Gaming and Non-Gaming divisions
• Drive alignment of software application and technology planning with organization's technology roadmap
• Establish and maintain policy for documentation to ensure the required technical documents is in place to support projects and operations
• Ensure compliance with the general programming best practices, accepted web standards and those standards set forth by upstream sources
• Work with IT Team Members and Business Units for business process improvement opportunities and provide technical solution
• Follow IT internal processes, policies and procedures


Job Requirement:

• University degree holder in computer science, software engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in delivering mission critical IT solutions for big organizations of similar scale of operations
• Deep understanding and practical experience on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Working Experience in Gaming, Hospitality and Retail industry is a plus
• Knowledge in relevant IT systems, such as SQL Server RDBMS, Web Services, .NET Framework, Windows Platform, Visual Studio Development Suite, Sharepoint, Oracle, etc.
• Knowledge of contemporary IT, including SOA, Workflow, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence, CRM, Portal Development
• Hands-on programming skills : C#, VB.NET, ADO/ADO.NET, TCP/IP Socket Programming, SQL Reporting Services, SQL SSIS, SQL Server Store Procedure Programming
• Hands-on advance programming experience in : WPF, WCF, App fabric, and ORM
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Fluent in Cantonese Chinese speaking is preferred
• Possess of good leadership skill, proven supervision skills and experience in fostering team work
• Possess of good problem solving skill, analytical skill and be detail oriented
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision of his/her supervisor
• Be able to handle multiple tasks with good sense of priority
• Ability to prioritize workload effectively and to undertake tasks using own initiative
• Maneuver in and around various user departments
