Guest Relations Officer賓客關係專員(Reservations)

Position Description
Provide prompt, accurate and professional handling of all requests for suite reservations, changes and cancellations
Attractively describe room accommodations and all amenities to meet the requirements of our potential guests
Provide relevant information on all enquiries received in a timely and accurate manner
Access guest history records to best service guests’ requirements
Offer to make the reservation ensuring that the conversion of all enquiries is maximized. Verify availability and suggest alternate dates if unavailable
Obtain all required information to complete the reservation and input into the system accurately
Up-sell other services such as Limousine or breakfast where appropriate
Accommodate special requests where possible such as dining room reservations and amenity orders and indicate in the system where required
Explain guarantee and cancellation policies to callers, encouraging them to guarantee each and every reservation
Relay accurate information to appropriate departments for follow-up services where required such as Limousine services
To perform any other assigned duties that may be given from time to time

Position Requirements
High school graduate, Diploma in Hotel Studies is preferred
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a customer service environment
Previous working experience in a call center is advantageous
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone or in writing
Speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin, knowledge of other languages, eg, Japanese, Korean, etc. is a plus
Must be computer literate and have internet awareness
Hotel or airline reservations experience is advantageous
Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Property Management System knowledge advantageous
GDS system knowledge advantageous
Must be willing to work any day of the week, holidays and on rotational shift
Pays attention to details and has strong customer service skills
Well groomed and professional disposition
