Regional Marketing Director - Neuroscience & Pain

Role Description

Work to support the Regional Therapeutic Area Lead in developing and driving strategic directions for the PIH Neuroscience & Pain brands/portfolio and the business development of the assigned category across all markets in the EM Asia region aligned with the broader global BU and overall company goals.

Lead the development, communication and execution of regional and innovative brand strategies, and programs for assigned brand/s. Lead the strategic planning, commercial development and continuing assessment of opportunities to drive further the business of the brand in assigned markets. Drive talent development as people manager in specified markets.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of regional brand/portfolio plans, programs and projects.
  • Set, monitor and manage specific brand objectives and performance indicators including the regional budget and overview of the budget management of the assigned CBLs
  • Provides insights to the Regional TA Lead (RTAL) for strategy development.
  • Provide commercial and brand management expertise to the team for the assigned brand/portfolio collaborating with and managing selected Country Brand Leads (CBLs)
  • Fully understand the brand P&L, identify possible issues, and advance proposals for corrective actions
  • Align key stakeholders - medical, marketing, sales, manufacturing, country and regional management, country functional colleagues - to business objectives, strategies and tactics for the brand across the region
  • Share information and experiences, leverage initiatives across countries where appropriate, and enhance productivity of marketing efforts for the brand
  • Strategic and commercial accountability to drive the business in assigned markets.
  • In assigned markets, lead the country operating process, strategic long-range revenue planning including business development, risk mitigation, resource planning to deliver country brand P&L for roll-up in the total TA/portfolio OP.
  • People resource in assigned markets.
  • MCM lead for PIH Neuroscience & Pain, lead the development of the strategic framework for a successful go-to market model, communication, resource planning, in-market launch, lead teams in execution and assessment across prioritized markets.
  • Lead the strategic planning for successful transition of the Lyrica business in the post LOE environment, mitigating risk to revenues, development new go-to-market model that will deliver optimal top-line results while maintaining leveraged P&L, lead change management and successful transition of teams
Key Accountabilities:
  • Brand Plan: Detail tactical and execution plan
  • Campaign development: Design campaign messaging; oversee material production
  • Alignment across functions : Ensure country needs are considered and reflected in regional strategies and plans
  • Proactively works with cross-functional teams to drive successful execution of strategies
  • Lead processes that will surface business challenges and plan to advance the business & mitigate risks
  • Regional brand strategic plan and long-range forecast
  • Development of the regional and country specific go-to-market strategic model for the successful transition of the Lyrica business in the post- LOE horizon
  • Development and execution of the MCM go-to-market model for pain TA
  • People/talent management: recruit, lead, train, active coaching, perform GPM, IDP, performance tracking, talent planning and active coaching for direct reports
RESOURCES MANAGED
  • Direct reports: 2-4 CBLs and marketing associate/s in the region
  • Brand A&P budget, plan, spend and tracking for region (CMO)
Education AND Experience
  • Bachelor degree required, MBA is preferred
  • 7-10 of Marketing experience
  • Experience in people management in a marketing organization, 2-3 years
  • Solid experience in country and regional leadership roles, marketing and cross-functional teams
