Assistant Manager – Finance Department

Responsibilities:

Support for payment operation under Finance department and oversee the operation of AP, AR, SE & ICP to ensure proper accrual, and correctly processed, recorded and settled with proper approval in accordance with Bank’s polices & procedures
Review invoices and general ledger prior to payment in a timely manner
Act as a good team player working collaboratively with different stakeholders & within the bank & groups
Perform bank statements reconciliation and relevant control & review actions
Identify areas of improvement and drive changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness with leveraging technology solutions, streamlining workflows or implementing best practices to optimize the processes.
Participate in system changes and UAT, act as team player for the system rollout and streamline across teams
Participate in job allocation & shifting, also regular job rotation
Ad-hoc assignment/project as assigned by supervisor/management

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with LCCI or equivalent certification is a plus
3 - 5 years working experience in accounting/finance department.
Careful and details oriented.
Strong sense of ownership and commitment to tasks and respect to timeline
Willing to learn, Self-motivated, Self-discipline, Positive mindset.
Good communication & team spirit and interpersonal skills.
Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving skills, Project Implementation skills, with the capacity to navigate through challenges and propose creative solutions.
Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Officer
