Both companies operate within the technology sector and focus principally on the invention, development and delivery of sophisticated system solutions for multi-national casinos which typically form part of multi-purpose integrated entertainment resorts.

    The WDG Macau Ltd. customer base includes several large internationally registered public companies as well as many significant privately held entities.

    The senior management team within the group comprises, of necessity, highly skilled executives with critical experience in the field of complex system solutions for the casino environment, knowledge of casino and resort operations at the most advanced level and high-level understanding of the strategic importance of solutions which meet the compliance, security, financial integrity and customer relationship needs of resort operators.

Director of System Support (Asia)

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic leader to gain deep insights into RFID technologies, systems software, and the casino gaming industry across Asia. The role demands a quick learner with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously while driving excellence in support and delivery operations. Occasional travel internationally and within the region will be required.


Specifically, an individual in this role will:

  • Lead and manage support and delivery teams across multiple locations in Asia, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with global standards and local market needs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of RFID technologies, hardware and systems software for casino gaming, ensuring timely, quality execution that meets client expectations.
  • Oversee the RFID hardware team, including the management of servers, gaming equipment, and custom RFID solutions to meet client and market needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery, improve customer satisfaction, and drive operational efficiency in the gaming sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of RFID solutions and gaming software.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the casino gaming industry, acting as a senior point of contact for escalations and critical issues.
  • Lead regional initiatives to enhance support and delivery capabilities, including the adoption of new technologies, processes, and best practices tailored to the gaming industry.

The individual in this role will gain an understanding of:
  • Systems software used in casino gaming, including integration with RFID solutions.
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting and management practices
  • Best practices in customer support and service delivery, particularly in the gaming sector.
  • Complex project management, specifically in delivering technology solutions for casinos.
  • Cross-cultural communication and leadership, with the ability to manage teams and clients across diverse geographic locations.
  • Data-driven decision-making and the use of KPIs to drive performance improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in support and delivery roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, particularly in the gaming or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading support and delivery teams in a multinational company.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and systems software specific to the casino gaming industry, any experience with RFiD a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus.
