Manager - Transportation

POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage the day to day guest limousine services area, supervise a team of Limousine. Ensure team members perform all transportation activites to required standards, including maintaining tht Company vehicles in excellent condition. Exceed guest expectations when special requests and requirements arises, ensuring their safety and welfare are of top priority whenever possible.
Limousines is responsible for the effective management of limousine fleet and vehicular access to Galaxy Macau for a safe, smooth and free flowing traffic network. The purposes of the position are to establish and provide a high quality limousine services and vehicle dispatch centre to cater various needs of the high end clientele and guests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Performance Indicators:
- Implementation of training plans and progress of team performance
- Compliments and complaints from guests and internal departments
- Income of the limousine and town fleet versus budget;
- Monitoring on use of vehicle and maintenance on cost perspectives
- Leadership and communication skills

Resources Management:
- To identify training needs and implement training plans for driving, customer service skills and safety with constant reviews
- Be responsible for team members' performance and discipline and evaluates staff and carries out performance appraisal as required
- To establish and maintain departmental policies at workplace
- To design, implement, and monitor maintenance plans to ensure resources are used in effective manners
- To closely communicate with team members to continuously review performance, job requirements and staff needs
- Ensure drivers are given training for safe, defensive driving skill with guest in mind to provide ultimate passenger comfort that drivers are evaluated on timely basis to ensure consistency in service delivery
- Actively participate in health and safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized and the health and safety of all employees is valued

Operations:
- To prepare reports to the senior management regarding driver’s performance and vehicle maintenance
- To establish and develop effective booking systems of limousine, particularly for VIP guests
- To constantly monitor dispatch of vehicles to ensure resources are allocated in effective and fair ways
- To prepare reports regarding vehicle utilization, vehicle revenue and traffic flows
- Monitors appropriate standards of conduct, uniform, grooming, hygiene and appearance of team members
- Ensure Limousine Fleet is kept at optimal performance level, highest cleanliness level by adhering to established maintenance program
- Adhering to all security and maintenance procedures and practices including reporting any unusual or suspicious incidents, hazards or people, complaints and missing or damaged items in a timely and accurate manner
- Adhering to all established policies and procedures of the company

- Performs related duties and special project as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years or above in hospitality, land transport or logistics industry, preferably in operations of limousine or hired car section
- Experience in serving high end customers is preferable
- Sound management experience for team size over 100 staff
- Tertiary educated, with studies in transport or logistics preferred
- Strategic minded, customer-oriented with good business minded
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as Mandarin
- Leadership and displays a high commitment to improving customer service
- Motivates others to achieve business objectives and common goals
- Able to handle stress
- Assumes other duties assigned by Management as required
