POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the media communications strategy development & execution, for Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG). He/she will report to AVP - Media Communications in growing brand awareness for GEG through all media marketing communications channels as well as to help build, manage and maintain the reputation and brand positioning of GEG. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES • Develop strong media relations with key industry & community opinion leaders o Develop good working relations with the appropriate media and public opinion through leaders, primarily in China and Hong Kong, who can help drive positive PR coverage and reinforce Galaxy Macau’s brand awareness o Work with internal PR team to organize public relations events – namely Hotel opening events, press conferences, media tours and executive, - interviews to strengthen media relations and increase knowledge about Galaxy Macau’s products/services o Act as Galaxy Macau spokesperson at media related functions, press conferences, property tours and other public speaking opportunities o Work with PR agency & Galaxy Macau digital marketing team to develop online PR social media monitoring, customer inquiries/feedback, etc. • Manage the execution of PR campaigns o Develop KOL social media plan to support ongoing social media activities o Compose, draft and distribute press releases, executive speeches and other PR related copywriting o Develop appropriate PR materials such as media kits, brochures, fact sheets, presentations, photographs, etc. • Provide coverage reports to internal management o Produce monthly coverage report to demonstrate effectiveness of PR activities, monthly updates to the fiscal management of PR budgets and metrics, and post-release/post-event PR coverage report on all activities in all relevant markets. REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 5 years of experience in PR communications, including: media relations, sponsorship promotions, event management, social media, crisis management and executive management • Strong PR media contacts in priority markets: Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Taiwan, Macau • Excellent project management and organizational skills with matured personality and be able to present to large audiences as well as in front of executive Management in a comfortable way • Degree or diploma holder • Must be fluent in English, Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua, prefer both) languages, spoken and written – added bonus if Japanese language abilities • Preferred experience in hospitality and travel marketing
