The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is currently looking to fill the following vacancy in the programme with Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Alliance Française de Macao: The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) and the Alliance Française de Macao are jointly promoting the French culture and language in Macao, and are desirous of expanding its French language offerings to USJ students. The Project is now inviting applications for the following position: French Teacher (One-Year Contract) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Teaching French as a foreign language to an audience of young children, children, teenagers, and adults; 2. Supervision, jury, and correction of DELF-DALF, TEF exams; 3. Involvement in cultural activities and animation of non-linguistic workshops; 4. Creation of didactic material, educational resources; 5. Participation in meetings and training; 6. Volume of work: 35 hours per week including a maximum of 20 teaching hours. 48 hours of leave per week including 24 consecutive hours; 7. May require to work in flexible hours. Requirements: 1. Master 1 or 2 FLE; 2. Experience of teaching French as a foreign language to adults, and solid teaching experience to children from 8 to 13 years old will be an advantage; 3. Practice of ICTE and mastery of IWB; 4. DELF-DALF examiner/corrector accreditation desired; 5. Native French speaking is an advantage; 6. Proficiency in French and English (level C1 minimum); 7. Foreign work experience is preferable; 8. Great motivation, availability, ability to adapt; 9. Sense of relationships and teamwork, rigor and sense of organization; 10. Macao ID card holder is preferable.
