International Desk | International Desk Officer

Qualifications:
 
  • University graduated or above;
  • 5-6 years professional experience in banking/financial sector;
  • Fluent in Portuguese/English (written and spoken);
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members across the Bank at all levels;
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize several projects at a time;
  • Excellent client calling skills and ability to negotiate and close deal / transactions; as well as strong customer service skills;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills;
  • PC proficiency including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

Promotion of international crossborder corporate business:
  • Identify business prospects and liaise with commercial areas to share and manage inbound and outbound business referrals;
  • Liaise with Mother Company and other entities in Macau (Banks, Associations, Trade Promotion offices, Consulates, etc) to foster the relationship with other institutions and banks in Macau to establish synergies to promote Macau as a financial platform between China and the Portuguese Speaking Countries (PSC);
  • Follow-up the existing Protocols and cooperation agreements and celebrate new agreements with relevant entities;
  • Organize and participate in conferences, seminars, trade fairs and other relevant events with a presence of PSC, in articulation with Marketing Department;
  • Prepare presentations and produce texts to commercial areas related to the Bank’s financial solutions for corporate clients with cross border business, with a focus on the relationship between China and the Portuguese Speaking Countries (PSC);
  • Participate in a task force to spur the Bank’s international business.

Support the Bank’s Executive Commission:
  • Preparation of presentations, articles and interviews related to the promotion of the Bank and Mother Company international business;
  • Assist to schedule and attend meetings with local institutions, associations and lawyers and other relevant entities to foster the Bank’s crossborder business;
  • Support the promotion of the Bank’s Hengqin Branch role in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA);
  • Assist to schedule, attend and draft the minutes for the Committee for the Development of the Sino-Portuguese Financial Services of the Macau Banking Association.
