Position Summary
Responsible for monitoring and coordinating the consultant teams, including architects, engineers, entertainment specialists, interior design consultants, lighting design consultants, electrical engineering consultants, preparing documents and reports, attend meetings, document and distribute meeting minutes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide guideline to lighting consultants and create aesthetic lighting design
• Monitor and supervise all external consultants and design team in developing Lighting design efforts including external facades, casino gaming design, retail design, Hotels, F&B design, monitoring schedules, costs and attend meetings
• Monitor and supervise the design team in completing tasks within schedule
• Review and comment on lighting consultant's submissions including drawings, specifications, design reports, technical reports, programs, schedules and budgets according to the expected recognized requirement
• Assist in value engineering of lighting consultants' design and recommend cost effective sources, alternative suppliers, and design solutions without compromising the design intent
• In collaboration with project team members assist in guiding the lighting consultant team to ensure cost effectiveness of designs
• Assist in establishing design needs and source in-house multi-disciplinary team to provide support
• Assist in providing design support for and communicate closely with the in-house and consultant Design teams on new/modified designs for the projects, as required
• Attend site inspections to review the quality and general arrangement of contractor installations
• Factory visit to review the light fixtures, and support co-worker for the decorative lighting made in progress quality is in good standard with desired lighting effect
• Work closely with consulting teams in resolving key design issues that may affect the design or impair the progress of work
• Prepare and support the in-house team in the preparation of tender packages
• Provide leadership to consultant team throughout the design process

• Minimum 10 years' experience in Lighting Related Design and coordination. Experience in facade & landscape, casinos, retail, F&B, hotels and entertainment attractions would be an advantage
• Experience in managing and providing leadership to project staff on design
• Strong background and experience in Design and Design management. Design experience in Gaming and/or Retail Interiors is a plus.
• Familiar with the specification of building materials, installation details and relevant statutory building and fire codes. Experience in Macau is a plus
• Experience in working as Owner Representative is a major advantage
• Capable of preparing sketches, perspectives and details; able to use AutoCAD. Knowledge in other drawing programs such as PhotoShop would be an advantage
• Familiarity with DIALux/Relt.ix to generate Lux level calculations & reports is essential
• Fluent in Cantonese and English. (Proficiency in Mandarin, is a plus)
• Good communication skills
• Be responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
