Job Description:

• Collaborate with Data Architects to optimize database operations
• Establish and ensure documentation standards and procedures for database operations and development
• Adhere to formal change control procedures to prevent unscheduled business interruptions
• Design workflows and manage internal and external data feeds
• Plan capacity for new databases and update existing ones to meet business needs, submitting monthly capacity planning reports
• Review database patching management documentation monthly
• Update and review CMDB documentation
• Review database user access documentation monthly
• Review database profile settings
• Prepare database incident reports
• Execute SCP documentation procedures annually
• Communicate with vendors and development teams to execute quarterly database patching
• Serve as the central contact point for database technical support
• Govern effective backup and restoration procedures for all databases to ensure ongoing data protection
• Direct Associate DBAs to write proactive database monitoring scripts and procedures
• Tune databases with application logic and reporting for reliable service and efficient performance
• Rectify database software faults promptly to ensure service continuity
• Provide or arrange credible consulting advice on database issues
• Construct database high availability and disaster recovery strategies
• Perform other tasks assigned by superiors


Job requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines
• Preference for relevant professional qualifications/certificates in OCP、MCSE
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in IT technical development
• Knowledge of relational database administration and management.
• Understand common business procedures and how they are facilitated using software.
