POSITION SUMMARY As a member of the 'Solution Developement' team, the Assistant Manager - Project Management provides high quality and timely consultancy and project management services on a variety of Resort & Administration systems. He/she will work under the supervision and guidance from his/her reporting supervisor to proactively research, define and drive business IT-related initiatives to success. The position requires an experienced and motivated individual with the abiltiy to utilize their talents, skills, and abilities in a coordinated and consistent team effort. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Drive key business initiatives for Hospitality and Back oF House systems in the Non-Gaming Area, with vision to deliver quality solutions benefiting internal business stakeholders and the group as a whole. - Oversee implementation of Non-Gaming related applications involving development of requirements, functional and technical specifications of the applications; - Manage, develop and lead 'virtual' project teams to achieve quality and timely deliverables. - Provide resource and consulting support to relevant business projects, directing the applications functionality, integration needs and infrastructure and related technology components within agreed standards. - Manage vendors ensuring open and transparent relationship that clearly defines the preferential status and demonstrates a beneficial service/commercial rates; - Effective handover to the IS&T Operations team of specific design and operating support instructions for both infrastructure and applications. REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience. - 4 or more years of experience in not less than one IT discipline including, but not limited to business analysis & design, project & program management, application support, IT & business systems operations, etc. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to communicate in English. The ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin will be an advantage. - Strong planning and organizational skills. - Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. - Good leadership skills. - Strong analytical and technical skills. - Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. - Strong problem solving skills. - Strong customer service skills. - Good knowledge of financial models and budgeting. - Good ability to tactfully and positively manage and maintain business relationships.
