Position: IT Support Specialist Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Mac, and Linux servers. • OS patch management and software applications. • Windows scripting. • Monitor and optimize system performance in both Windows and Linux environments to ensure high availability and reliability. • Monitor network equipment in the in-house lab environment, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues on both Windows and Linux platforms. • Perform system backups and recovery procedures in both Windows and Linux environments to safeguard data integrity. • Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements in both Windows and Linux environments. • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for Windows and Linux systems. • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on system-related matters in macOS, Windows, and Linux environments. • Assist in the procurement and deployment of new hardware and software in macOS, Windows, and Linux environments. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field. • Proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux server administration. • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., ESXi, Azure) is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
