Position Summary: The Senior Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting gaming systems in terms of hardware, software and application to ensure maximum system operation and performance. Use technology to enhance business process. Primary Responsibilities: - Provide a stable systems enviroment for all nominted systems by identiying and rectifying potential concerns, be able to provide quick and accurate problem diagnosis. - Respond to support request for nominated systems in a timely and effective manner, with the need to be on call for ad hoc shift dutties. - Communicate effectievely with system vendors, service staff and users. - Follow IS&T pratice and procedures for technical troubleshooting. - Ensure maxium up-time and performance of nominated systems to maintain user confidence. - Ensure policies and procedures are documented for systems and support functions. - Coordinate with software development staff on application support matters. - Perform system test to ensure quality products are delivered and meet customers expectation. - Create/Review documentation/reports/FAQ. - Support and knowledge transfer to juniors analyst. - Map business operation process to systems, find out shortfalls and suggest improvements. - Able to engage stakeholders and drive them agreement. Requirements: - 3-5 years of relevant Casino industry experience, in a system support capacity. - Good working knowledge of the processes and procedures that will be in use and how these relate to the operations of IT System within the Casino. - Good analytical skills and ability to handle tasks under tight time frame. - Good basic knowledge of IT in operating systems administration, networking, database and software application installation and configurations. - Good communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish strong working relationships at all levels with internal and external parties.
