POSITION SUMMARY

Senior Analyst - Non Gaming Ops provides high quality and timely functional and technical support on non-gaming systems. Person in this job function proactively and reactively research, analyze, and resolve functional and technical problems in a timely manner. He/she will work closely with the IS&T support teams and vendors to ensure smooth operation and integration of the various systems. The position requires an experienced and motivated individual with the ability to utilize their talents, skills, and abilities in a coordinated and consistent team effort.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Participate in problem diagnostics, root cause analysis, and solution development in Non-Gaming systems
- Support the Non-Gaming Solution and Operation team to achieve quality and timely deliverables
- Communicate effectively with system vendors, service staff and users
- Provide a stable systems environment for non gaming systems by identifying and rectifying potential concerns and be able to provide quick and accurate problem diagnostics
- Mentor junior staff members in efforts to improve their skill sets and domain knowledge
- Participate in business meetings to follow up issues or requests raised by other business units
- Monitoring systems to detect deficiencies and provide support on solution analysis
- Ensure effective on-going support for nominated non-gaming systems
- Respond to support requests for nominated systems in a timely and effective manner and provide on-call support after office hours on a rotating basis
- Follow IS&T practice and procedures for technical troubleshooting
- Ensure maximum up-time and performance nominated non-gaming systems to maintain user confidence
- Ensure policies and procedures are documented for systems and support functions

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor degree in computer science, or a related area of study or equivalent experience on business functions such as logistics, F&B, supply chain management, finance and accounting, or human resources management
- 3 to 5 years if relevant non-gaming industry related experience
- Working experience with Hotel areas including POS or PMS application is highly preferred
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Good working knowledge of IT in operating system administration, network, database, and software application installation and configuration
- Good working knowledge of the processes and procedures that will be in use and how these relate to the operation of IT Systems
- Good sense of business functional processes and able to communicate with business users effectively
- Good analytical skills and ability to handle tasks under tight time frame
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish strong working relationships at all levels with internal and external parties
- Dynamic, outgoing personality with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize project tasks and resolve conflicts
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), both oral and written
