POSITION SUMMARY As a member of the Solution Development team, the Senior Manager - Project Management provides high quality and timely consultancy and project/program management services on a variety of Gaming & Marketing systems. He/she will work under the supervision and guidance from his/her reporting supervisor to proactively research, define and drive business IT-related initiatives to success. The position requires an experienced and motivated individual with the abiltiy to utilize their talents, skills, and abilities in a coordinated and consistent team effort. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Drive key business initiatives for Gaming and Marketing related systems with vision to deliver quality solutions benefiting internal business stakeholders and the group as a whole. - Develop, communicate and seek business executive support for solutions direction through the IS&T strategic plan, focused on effective, efficient, relevant and solutions which clearly provide Galaxy a business advantage over competitors and support our customer service ideals - Ensure enhanced customer experience and effective business process through integration to both Gaming and Non-gaming applications. - Oversee implementation of Gaming and Marketing related applications involving development of requirements, functional and technical specifications of the applications; - Manage the Gaming Solution and 'virtual' project teams in terms of resource planning, work quality, deliverables and timeliness; - Provide resource and consulting support to relevant business projects, directing the applications functionality, integration needs and infrastructure and related technology components within agreed standards. - Manage vendors ensuring open and transparent relationship that clearly defines the preferential status and demonstrates a beneficial service/commercial rates; - Effective handover to the IS&T Operations 'Run' team of specific design and operating support instructions for both infrastructure and applications. - Work in close partnership with the IS&T 'Plan' team to consolidate the strategic needs and desires from the business to identify and prioritize future initiatives. - Design and establishment of a highly skilled and motivated team of application and technical resources focused on property solutions and associated technologies - Develop and support a culture of constant review, measure and improvement both within IS&T and its primary areas of support. REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience. - 7 or more years of experience in not less than one IT discipline including, but not limited to business analysis & design, project & program management, application support, IT & business systems operations, etc. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an excellent ability to communicate in English.
