Senior Technician (Network & Security)

Job Description:
The Senior Technician (Network and Security) is responsible for managing the hotel’s IT infrastructure, specifically relating to network security, systems maintenance, and support. This role involves ensuring the reliability and security of the hotel’s information systems and providing technical support to all departments.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, ensuring the safeguarding of sensitive information.
- Conduct regular system monitoring to detect and respond to security breaches or vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support for staff and guests, resolving issues related to connectivity, software, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams for IT-related infrastructure projects.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for network configurations and security practices.
- Stay current with the latest technology trends and cybersecurity developments to enhance hotel operations.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network and security management, experience working in the hospitality industry will be an advantage.
- Degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and security tools.
- Experience with hotel management software and information systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or others preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Highly detail-oriented, independent, proactive, self-motivated, with strong sense of responsibility.
- Macau ID holder only.
