Credit & Risks–Collection Officer

Responsibilities

Assessment on creditability of problem accounts
Monitor overdue accounts and follow up deferred payments
Coordinate with property valuers on assessment of market values of underlying collateral
Answer customer enquiries and issue overdue reminders
Formulate collection strategy and implementation
Carry out necessary debt recovery action according to company procedures
Prepare regular reports on asset performance, recovery effort and risk exposure for Management and Regulatory Authorities
Site visit is required; and perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Degree holder or related discipline
Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience and knowledge of banking and accounting an advantage
Mature and pleasant personality with good communication skills
Eager to learn and able to work independently; willing to take on challenges
High proficiency in PC operations such as Microsoft Word (including Chinese word-processing), Excel and Power Point
Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
