Our client is a Macau branch of an international banking group and now seeking for talent to join the team due to business expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of banking operations, encompassing trade finance services, SWIFT and RTGS management, and corporate loan administration, among other core functions.

• Verify the opening and ongoing maintenance of customer accounts across various types.

• Review and authorize transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Administer and monitor the loan processing lifecycle, including drafting loan documentation and liaising with relevant stakeholders.

• Validate and approve outgoing payment orders transmitted through the SWIFT Alliance.

• Manage diverse trade finance operations such as letters of credit, invoice financing, receivables advances, packing loans, and bank guarantees.

• Define and maintain robust systems controls, parameters, and working procedures.

• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies like AMCM, overseeing the bank's interactions with RTGS, CCAS, FPS, and PDC systems.

• Coordinate and execute disaster recovery drills organized by AMCM, CEP, and the Head Office.

• Collaborate with the IT department at the Head Office to address any issues related to the branch's operational systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum 20 years of experience in banking operations, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.

• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and process improvements.

• Excellent understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous environments.

• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

• Fluency in English and and Chinese, Portuguese is an advantage.

• Advanced knowledge of banking software, digital technologies, and data analytics tools.
