Officer, Settlement - Trade, Securities & Treasury Operations

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Settlement Processing of Securities and Treasury transactions.
Monitor the service quality of the hubbing tasks (corporate action election, excessed line, and IPO subscriptions, static data maintenance, transaction instructions, etc.) handled by HK-STO. Review daily and monthly reports for Securities & Treasury operations.
Respond to settlement-related inquiry calls on securities from frontline. Verify S.W.I.F.T. messages for Nostro & Vostro Funds Transfers and prepare vouchers for GL entry posting.
Check the confirmation of Foreign Exchange transaction, Bullion trade, Placement & Borrowing, Bond, Certificate of Deposit documents for correspondent and relevant reports/vouchers in Swift Alliance Access and check daily Murex reports.
Monitor the settlement of Currency Link Deposit, Equity linked Investment etc. handled by HK-SEO, i.e. Sample check the confirmation and funds transfer SWIFT messages are released.
File daily document and reconcile SAFE vouchers with teller total proof sheets.
Report on the fund movement for IPO money settlement and refund in cashflow system.
Handling physical stock deposits, and withdrawals.
Prepare customer notification letters for securities transactions.
Perform UAT for SMS, SAA and relevant systems.
Assist team Head in coordinating daily operations with other departments (i.e. GMT, GMM and branches)
Provide cross-team support within the department as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or above
2 years of banking experience are desirable
Hardworking, able to handle more workload and extra work
Logical, analytical and diligent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

1 year of contract duration
