Senior Manager - Operations

Responsibilities

Oversee the operational function within the Bank including the teams in Bills, Remittance, Loan Administration, Operation Support and Treasury Settlement to ensure daily operations are efficient and comply with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements
Implement effective internal controls to ensure compliance and smooth operational workflow, migrate operational risks and enhance customer satisfaction
Regularly review operating procedures and guidelines, and continuously optimize processes to drive operational excellence
Collaborate with stakeholders to support the Bank’s new initiatives and expansion plan of the Group
Manage project plans for system enhancements, including the development of system requirements, User Acceptance Test (UAT), system implementation, and assessment of project effectiveness
Consolidate and prepare regular departmental reports for management review
Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes to ensure the implantation of best market practice
Perform all other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline
10+ years of operational management experience in banking industry
In depth knowledge of operational management and regulatory requirements in Macau
Experience in managing diverse teams with exceptional leadership and influence skills
Demonstrates agile mindset, adapts quickly to changing circumstances and demonstrates flexibility in decision-making and problem-solving
Strong analytical and project management skills, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
