Position Summary To manage and coordinate all design and fit-out matters for all leased Retail/ FandB operators in Galaxy Macau and Broadway Macau. Ensure all leased retail/ FandB outlets are built in compliance to statutory requirements and GEG guidelines, and exiting Retailers are retrieved from the property according to house rules and agreed schedule. Assist senior management on technical feasibility studies to explore opportunities for asset enhancement and future mall expansion Primary Responsibility • Act as the key liaison across a range of internal and external stakeholders (ie. Retailers, Projects, Contractors, GM's operational teams etc) from design to completion of construction works • Manage and follow up on Retailers’ submissions for application of all design drawings, licenses and permits. Provide support to Retailers on government statutory submissions and attending government inspections. • First point of contact for Retailers on all design and technical related enquiries. Troubleshoot potential problems; resolve design and construction issues • Supervise all site handovers of Retail Shops (from Projects/ DandD to Retail Team, and between Retail Team and Retailers) and keep full documentary records on all handover conditions of each and every shop premises • Work with internal parties and consultants to perform technical feasibility studies for the Department on all potential enhancement works, coordination with relevant departments on detailed study, design and cost proposals. Monitor the design development and construction progress and mitigate project risk in all aspects • Coordinate and monitor alteration works performed by Projects' / DandD's Contractors. Regularly meet with internal parties to ensure AandA works are performed to prescribed scopes and within budget • Be accountable for the department's budget and prudently manage own department's expenses" Requirements "(i) Degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, Business or other relevant disciplines (ii) Minimum 5 years relevant work experience with property developers or construction firms, work experience in project management of fit-out and alteration works will be a definite advantage (iii) Conversant with local practices, regulations and statutory procedures (iv) Team player with good interpersonal skills (v) Good communications skills in written and spoken English and Chinese (vi) Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently (vii) Strong sense of responsibility and ‘Can Do’ attitude (viii) Good computer knowledge"
