Responsibilities: • Reports any incidents/ accidents in the kitchen to supervisor. • Responsible for the pre-preparation of food items according to specified standard in the recipe cards. • Responsible for the proper handling, maintenance of equipment, cleanliness and orderliness of work area in the kitchen. • Has knowledge of all menus and recipes in his section including the ingredients, method of cooking pre-preparation procedures and the presentation of the dishes. • Knowledgeable on the standard method of preparation, methods of cutting, types of food ingredients and proper handling. • Clean and arrange items in the fridges, storage areas and work areas according to schedule to maintain high sanitation standard. Requirements: Junior high school degree or above, kitchen knowledge education background is preferred. Priority will be given to working experience in five-star hotels. Good communication skills in Cantonese and Mandarin. Macau residents have advantages.
