LED Installation Technician – Macau

Role Overview:

Simtech is seeking a skilled and physically capable LED Installation Technician based in Macau. This role focuses on hands-on installation of LED display systems across casino environments, including rigging, mounting, cabling, and module replacement. The technician will support basic software setup such as test patterns and wiring verification, while working alongside senior technicians and APAC project teams. This position requires strong reliability, communication, and professionalism when interacting with casino staff.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Installation & Assembly

Perform full-scale LED installations including walls, ceilings, arches, overhead slot display and custom structures.
Carry out precision alignment, leveling, and cabinet/module fitting.
Handle rigging support, lifting, mounting brackets, and installation tools.

Maintenance, Repairs & Basic Technical Checks

Replace faulty LED modules, power supplies, and cabling.
Conduct preventative maintenance in casino environments.
Run basic software checks such as test patterns, module addressing, and signal verification.
Support all Simtech software technicians during final commissioning.

Site Work, Safety & Standards

Follow all casino and WHS safety protocols during installations.
Perform site measurements, risk checks, and pre-install assessments.
Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained to Simtech standards.

Collaboration & Support

Communicate professionally with casino engineering teams.
Work closely with the Project Manager – APAC and Australian technicians.
Support occasional regional travel for installs in the future (Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore).

Requirements & Skills

Macau ID holder (mandatory).
Mid-level experience in LED installation, AV, electrical, or technical trades.
Strong physical capability for lifting, rigging, and installation work.
Basic understanding of LED hardware and simple software tests.
High reliability and punctuality.
Strong communication skills, especially with casino staff.
Ability to work M–F with weekend/on-call availability (overtime provided).

Preferred Experience

Experience working inside Macau casinos.
Background in LED installations, rigging, AV setup, or electrical work.
Exposure to large-format display installations or custom structures.
