Responsibilities • Monitor project costs and budgets, administer main consultancy agreements, subconsultant agreements, and subcontract arrangements, and manage commercial matters including subconsultant claims and variation order (VO) preparation; • Prepare and submit variation orders (VOs), follow up on assessments and negotiations, prepare interim payment applications, and formulate extension of time (EOT) and loss & expense claims; • Assist in contract negotiations with clients, developers, subconsultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders; • Support commercial and contractual risk management across multiple projects; • Overseas travel may be required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline; • Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, commercial management, contract administration, construction claims, or project cost management; • Professional qualification such as MHKIS, MRICS, or equivalent is preferred; • Proven experience in variation orders, payment applications, EOT claims, and loss & expense claims; • Experience in large-scale mixed-use developments would be an advantage; • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail; • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess a strong sense of responsibility and initiative; • Good command of written and spoken English; • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Commercial Manager; • Macau citizen is a must.
