Project Director

Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the project team to ensure successful project delivery
• Oversee the development of project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
• Manage and coordinate the activities of architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
• Ensure that all project deliverables are met, including quality, safety, and environmental standards

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related field
• Professional accreditation such as chartered membership of HKIE (Building) / CIOB / HKICM or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on real estate development, construction, or a related field, of which not less than 5 years at managerial level
• Proven experience in managing projects from a developer’s perspective is highly desirable.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, execution, and construction of large-scale projects both domestically and internationally
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in Macau
• Proficient in written and spoken in both English and Chinese
