The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is currently looking to fill the following vacancy in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH): Assistant Professor/Associate Professor (Ref. No.: FAH-AP72) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Perform academic duties, including but not limited to teaching modules at the undergraduate level of Architectural Studies and master level of Architecture; 2. Work on R&D projects via design and submission of proposals to local and international funding agencies; 3. Supervise Master Dissertations and PhD Thesis; 4. Publish regularly in Peer-Reviewed Publications and International Conferences; 5. Work with the Department of Architecture and Design on the development of Pedagogical and Scientific Activities; 6. Organize workshops and lecture series; 7. Work on the development of Programme Revision for the Quality Assurance and Enhancement; 8. Assist in research and collaboration with International partnerships. Requirements: 1. PhD Degree in fields related with Architecture, Urbanism, History of Architecture, Parametric and Building Computer Modeling, or Construction Technologies; 2. At least 5 years of Professional Experience in Architectural practice; 3. Candidates with prior experience as University lecturer is preferable; 4. Experience with parametric design and fabrication is valued; 5. Demonstrate a good track record of Peer-Reviewed publications, funded research grants, Research & Development, and Project Development and Management; 6. Track record of research and publication on Asian architecture or urbanism is valued; 7. Awards for architectural projects, research and publications are valued; 8. Proficiency in English; 9.
