The Wynn Palace SkyCab is the first cable car system of its kind in Asia. The system is a 6-passenger monocable detachable gondola ropeway, travelling around the performance lake of Wynn Palace, Macau (Cotai).

Doppelmayr Macau Limitada is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the SkyCab.

The Maintenance Technician is employed by "Doppelmayr Macau Limitada" and is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on all cable car components. The Maintenance Technician also assists in troubleshooting and resolving operational disturbances.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operating the system
• Monitoring all aspects of the Wynn Palace SkyCab from the platform and the control room
• Compile accurate and up-to-date operation and maintenance logs
• Follow all the issued operational protocols in order to ensure the safety of the passengers and personnel of the Wynn Palace SkyCab
• Monitor the Wynn Palace SkyCab during operation and take over the "System Operator" duties as necessary
• Follow all issued operational, maintenance and safety protocols, procedures and directives to ensure overall compliance and that all the preventative and corrective maintenance performed complies with manufacturers’ specifications and applicable industry standards
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all the components of the Wynn Palace SkyCab
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic irregularities and repair or replace related components as necessary
• Troubleshoot technical issues and assist in the resolution of operational disturbances
• Assist in emergency evacuation procedures

• Principles and practices of mechanical/electrical engineering design
• Principles and practices of mechanical/electrical equipment and materials
• Methods and techniques of field measuring and testing
• Electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic work experience
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Ability to adopt a “hands-on” approach to solve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic irregularities

• Proven education such as high school diploma, bachelor degree or master degree
• Applicants must be able to speak, understand, read and write in English language
• The ability to speak, understand, read and write in Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin) language is a plus
• Applicants must be willing and able to work indoor and outdoor, even during hot / cold / rainy weather conditions
• The job requires manual handling, therefore applicants must be physically fit to perform the tasks that the job may require
• Applicants must not have fear of height as the job requires work at height
• Computer literacy and the ability to easily understand the training provided for the use of the digital applications and softwares used by the Company is a must
• Successful applicants will be working as part of an international team, therefore a positive attitude, team-work and good communication skills are essential and a must
• Only applicants in possess of a Macau ID will be considered

• Shift pattern is normally 4 days on + 2 days off, alternating early and late shifts (this is not fixed therefore it may variate from time to time)
