JOB FUNCTIONS: As a trainee in the M&A Department, your key tasks and responsibilities may include: • Support the origination, evaluation, negotiation, and closing of complex cross-border acquisitions with international clients; • Perform in-depth company/sector analysis and financial modelling for real-world projects; • Assist in the co-ordination of due diligence activities; • Assist in marketing activities including drafting pitches, building and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients and peer institutions; • Draft deal marketing documents, internal investment presentations and other client documentation where required; • Assist in anti-money laundering and other related compliance and administrative procedures. PROFILE REQUIREMENTS: • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any major. Finance, Accounting or other Quantitative Major preferred; • Strong academic record coupled with diverse interests; • Fluency in English is mandatory; • Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin); • Quantitative and analytical talents combined with effective communication skills; • Previous experience in financial modeling/valuation highly preferred • Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive; • Excellent knowledge and control of MS Office tools mainly Excel and PowerPoint.
