Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services (e.g., Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR). - Build and optimize data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., S3, Redshift, Athena) to support analytics and reporting. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions. - Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices in compliance with gaming regulations. - Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure high availability and performance. - Automate data ingestion from diverse sources including gaming systems, CRM, POS, and IoT devices. - Support real-time data streaming and processing using tools like Kinesis or Kafka. - Contribute to the design of scalable architecture for predictive analytics and machine learning models. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hive). - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong understanding of data privacy and compliance in regulated industries. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the casino, gaming, or hospitality industry. - Knowledge of real-time analytics and customer behavior modeling. - AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty)
