We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network/System Engineer to join our IT services team. The ideal candidate will assist with network and system implementation, infrastructure maintenance, system support, and troubleshooting. This role is suitable for someone with a foundational understanding of networking and system administration who is eager to grow their technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end-users, including hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Support user account administration, access control, email systems, file sharing, and basic Active Directory operations.
• Assist in system backup, recovery, patching, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging networking technologies and best practices.
• Participate in shift duty and standby support as required to ensure continuous IT service availability.

Qualifications requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred:

• 1 year or above working experience in the IT field.
• Relevant network or system certifications are preferred, such as CCNA, H3CNE, HCIA, Microsoft, Linux, VMware, or equivalent certifications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, NAT, and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with network equipment such as Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Fortinet, or Sangfor.
• Knowledge of network security principles and tools, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and access control.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file server, and email systems.
• Experience in PC/laptop troubleshooting, printer support, software installation, and end-user support.
• Good documentation skills for technical procedures, system configurations, and support records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
