Position Summary The Senior Manager - Non-Gaming Ops is responsible for maintaining and evolving their strategic use and benefit to Galaxy's business operations. In addition to the business applications and technology related to non-gaming operations, the role assumes leadership for business function managers. He / she will have strong operational experience in hospitality system to lead IS&T teams for effective ongoing operations. Primary Responsibility Design and develop operational processes and standards Plan and manage team resources for different tasks Drive a team to deliver service to business stakeholder within the defined service level agreement Define KPIs and development plans for each individual Review performance for each individual on a regular basis Lead any production system maintenance and implementation in Non Gaming area Review QA and UAT for upgrade patches on production Systems Review and response to audit and security requirements Lead and manage business recommendations and requirements to maintain / improve service level and quality Manage vendors ensuring open and transparent relationship that clearly define the preferential status of GEG and demonstrated a beneficial service Foster a learning culture with the team to promote cross breeding of skill sets and problem solving attitude Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related area of study, or equivalent experience Minimum 8 years systems related experience with Property Management, POS and other hospitalities applications Project Management and/or ITIL certifications, an advantage Proven as strong Applications and Technology centric and team oriented Manager Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong vision, ability to clearly articulate that vision to executives and peers Strong business acumen Knowledge of IT trends and declines Ability to translate trends and IT strategy and relate them to the business needs Communication skills necessary to promote and seek support for the IT strategy to all levels Understand current IT capabilities and apply them to business value Able to create passion and commitment both within own team and the wider IS&T family Half self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment Good written and verbal communication skills with a good ability to communicate in English. The ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required
