Job Description: • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service (greeting, welcoming…) • Report to shift on time in uniform and perfectly groomed • Is courteous, positive and establish and maintain professional working relationship with all staff • Participate to daily briefing and training • Checks the handover log book and follow up any outstanding issues • Fully understand and aware of all the different uniform styles to be able to answer needs accurately and quickly • Perform alteration without changing the style and the agreed standard of the uniform (length of dresses, skirts, shirts, blouse…) • Perform repair in a timely manner for staff uniform and guest garments • Will eventually, and only when requested by supervisor, perform alteration of garment for non-uniform staff. (Should not perform any other personal work for her or employee.) • Once alteration are made for uniform, he/she will press the items so that they are ready to wear • Once alteration is made for Guest Garment, he/she will press the items, and place them on hanger in a labelled garment bag to be sent to the room • Is responsible to make the call if after alteration the garments need washing or dry cleaning • She/ He is also responsible to repair, amend, alter any linen from rooms or food & beverage or upholstered items according to the hotel specifications when applicable • She/ He is responsible for embroidery requests on linen to personalize some items • She/ He is in charge of uniform fitting for new employee • She/ He is in charge of uniform inspection or refitting for existing employee • She/ He is performing seamstress supplies inventories • She/ He inform the Supervisor Wardrobe for needs and replenishment of seamstress supplies • She/ He report maintenance issue needed of any seamstress machinery • She/ He thoroughly inspect uniform to identify repair/alteration required to minimize employee complaints and return to the wardrobe department to have them fixed • Assist all staff at wardrobe services counter for any uniform services request for repair and alteration and distribution when applicable • Maintain the seamstress area clean and tidy at all the times • Communicate effectively with related laundry personal and all other departments. • Adhere to the hotel’s Policies and rules as well as all security, safety and emergency policies and procedures • Perform any other related duties as required and instructed by his/ her superiors Job Requirement: • Primary school graduated or above • Experience working as Seamstress is preferable • Computer knowledge and Basic English and is a plus • Ideally fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and basic English • Ability to work on shift weekend and holidays based on business demands Interested Parties, please apply via: • Email the detailed resume to careers@macausjm.com • Hotline 89820288 / 68827117
