Assistant Credit Loan Administration Manager

Major Responsibilities:
Operations
• Lead the team and hands on to perform credit administration daily operation including loan drawdown, repayment, loan rollover, rate fixing and account maintenance.
• Hands on collateral management and security perfection.
• Review and sign off facility letter and loan/security documentation.
• Review and recommend for loan drawdown upon fulfilment of condition precedents/compliance on transactional documents and after perfection of loan documents.
• Work with headquarter counterpart on quality assurance.

Credit Control Monitoring
• Ensure monitoring of market values of pledged collateral are performed timely and accurately in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and other external regulatory requirements.
• Follow up all related covenants and conditions, breaches and limit excesses are approved or rectified as appropriate.
• Manage the team to identify and follow up outstanding credit reviews and expired facilities.

Reporting
• Manage daily MIS / regulatory reporting and monitoring tasks handled by the team.
• Manage regular / contingency credit control and monitoring / management / credit process / turnaround reporting.
• Ensure timely submission of all reports to senior management and other regulatory authorities in relation to facility limits and pledged collateral and other credit/ operation related areas.
• Manage the preparation of regular usage and data submission / data contribution files regarding credit bureau in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Team Management
• Conduct periodic review on workflows and procedures and recommend suggestions for continuous process improvement.
• Implement necessary control measures to minimize operational risk of the team.
• Coordinate and participate in operational risk / internal control assessment / reporting.
• Supervise and provide appropriate coaching to team members.

Job Requirements:
• University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline / relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum 6 year’s working experience in credit / loan process of banking industry.
• Good knowledge on relevant banking products and regulatory requirements stipulated for perfection of loan documentation.
• Well versed in PC applications, especially computer literate with strong MS Excel skills.
• Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, Chinese and Mandarin.
