Office Manager - General Insurance

Our client is a Global Leader in Insurance industry. They are now finding an Officer Manager - General Insurance for their business extension.
 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Hong Kong business team to achieve sustainable business growth in Commercial and Personal lines businesses and other business targets.

  • Execute business strategies and ensure that strategies are monitored and kept on track.

  • Develop close relationship with insurance intermediaries and deliver all-around services in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for managing new product filing process for GI business.

  • Work with HK various teams to formulae the optimal operational model for Macau operation.

  • Ensure daily works to comply with the company's legal & compliance measures and all relevant underwriting guidelines.

  • Assist in preparing required underwriting analysis and reports on general insurance new and renewal business in Macau.

  • Underwriting support and provision of Macau local market and risk knowledge to the business team in HK.

  • Prepare and review the policy and other relevant documents to ensure it is accurate and ready in timely manner.

  • Responsible for ad-hoc tasks and project as assigned.

 

 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or insurance related disciplines.

  • At least 5 years' experience in GI commercial lines underwriting.

  • Qualified IIQE Paper 1 & 2 or other related professional insurance qualifications is preferred.

  • Good knowledge of GI underwriting and local intermediary distribution channel.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
