Responsibilities: Role Responsibility • Greeting the customers and answer phone calls • Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain it to customers accurately, offer information about the menu recommendations upon customers’ requests • Take orders, use POS to record the order and compute the amount of the bill, collect and settle payment transaction from customers • Prepare food neatly, accurately and in a timely manner, clean as directed • Checks products in food preparation area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift • Understands and adhere to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual • Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitisation standards while preparing food, serving food, and clean up • Account for all forms of money and products during the shift • Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual • Perform light paperwork duties as assigned • Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner when dealing with all customers The Ideal Candidate • Restaurant, retail customer service skills desirable • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels • Good time management and organisational skills • Ability to work well under pressure • Ability to achieve company standards with particular regard to food safety and hygiene guideline
