WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Your working base is your Core Area where you lead by example every day, supporting, aligning, challenging and coaching your core area teams.
  • Ensure your core area is in excellent shape as new and fully and efficiently stocked with the four merchandising basics in place at all times and that the IKEA product range is presented in ways that inspire and satisfy customers.
  • Ensure your core area teams is working together to secure cross home furnishing coordination & easy buying process in your core Area & the store. Deliver and lead the commercial action plan for your Core Area; taking input from your Core Area team, working with the Store Sales Manager and the matrix partners to ensure the Core Area supports the achievement of the agreed goals for the country, maximises sales and generates sustained long-term profitability.
  • Follow up the financial goals, KPIs and costs of your Core Area, taking action on deviations. Motivate and develop members of your Core Area Team by agreeing clear goals, expectations and conducting follow-up.
  • Within your Core Area, secure a competent and high-performing team of inspired and empowered co-workers who recognise and understand their contribution. Identify and develop the many talents within the Core Area to secure succession planning within the Core Area, and the total store.
  • You lead and inspire your team to optimise the customers' shopping experience, including checkout & goods flow, securing customer satisfaction, and ensuring your team leaders have the right number of co-workers in the right place at the right time to run their shops & checkout successfully and ensure their co-workers are ready and available to serve customers and help them buy.
  • Know your local market potential; work with your Core Area team and other functions to ensure that the solutions within your Core Area are locally relevant throughout the different sales channels.
  • Understand the IKEA social and environmental commitments and know how you and your Core Area can contribute to sustainability.
  • You keep an active eye on the competition and take appropriate action when necessary which you communicate to your matrix partner in the Service Office.
  • Using your knowledge of the IKEA product range and services, national priorities, volume commitments, local market conditions and local competitors, you lead and drive commercial growth and initiatives through your Core Area team, motivating them to achieve goals.
  • Act quickly on commercial opportunities; changing availability of products and customer feedback (10 most ask questions)

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

44 work hours per week, 6 to 7 days Rest Day per month, Annual Fixed Bonus, Public Holiday, Paid Leave (e.g. 12 to 18 days Annual Leave, 14 weeks Maternity Leave, 5 days Paternity Leave, 1 week Marriage Leave), Employee Medical Coverage, Staff Purchase Discount, Birthday Coupon, Healthy Staff Meal, Excellent Career Path, Multinational Working Environment
