    MTR (Macau), a 100% owned subsidiary of MTR Corporation, is responsible for assisting the Macau SAR Government in the operations and maintenance services of the Macau Light Rapid Transit (LRT) Taipa Line. Procurement Officer

Job Descriptions:

  • Assist superiors for or to independently provide pre-contract services, including sourcing, quotation, negotiation, bidding, tendering, preparation of documents based on established templates, internal review, invitation, receipt, assessment of tenders, recommendation leading to award, contract execution etc., in order to deliver efficient and value-for-money procurement outcomes and in accordance with the company’s policy and procedure.
  • Prepare conforming contract documents based on established templates for superior’s review, information consolidation and approvals.
  • Provide both technical and commercial support in efficient post-contract administration of contracts/consultancies, including delivery and acceptance, payment, variation, contract administration, cost control, vendor performance management, closure reports etc.
  • Implement procurement procedures, contract administration and cost control procedures (where applicable) to achieve efficient procurement process, financial control, and prepare internal cost control reports for specific contracts.
  • Proactively understand stakeholders’ procurement/contractual requirements, and support stakeholders on the company’s relevant policy and procedure and the use of the company’s purchasing systems.
  • Fully document procurement processes, decisions and contractual arrangements for audit purposes.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignment or projects as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Purchasing, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.
  • A member in HKIS, RICS or CIPS would also be an advantage.
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience in the procurement and/or contracts administration.
  • Self-driven individual with good interpersonal communication and analytical skills.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese is essential.
