Director (Head of Sales) / Senior Manager - Agency Development

Our client is a listed Global Financial Service Group. They are seeking a Director / Senior Manager - Agency Development. It is a newly created position for their Macau business extension.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and implement agency recruitment strategy and initiatives for Agency Channel.

  • Responsible for the overall training and development of the agency force, ensuring the sales force maintains the required level of professional ethics, and establishing standards of capability and performance to deliver against the business plan.

  • Translate the agency business plan and financial objectives into agency initiatives, determining the action focus to achieve sales and manpower goals, as well as other productivity and quality targets, product portfolio as well as expense budget control
    Manage and oversee the day-to-day business operations and progress, maintain business momentum and uplift sales activities and productivity of the agency force.

  • Explore industry trend and market intelligence; create market attention and promote the efficient market proposition for agency force.

 

Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales management experience from Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and Hospitality industries, in life insurance agency channel sales and business development experience will be an advantage.

  • In-depth understanding of sales within the insurance industry, sales trends, manpower flow, new product development and market intelligence

  • Strong ability to create sales and marketing drives, able to build up and boost the overall sales and recruitment capabilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation and facilitation capabilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to get along with and influence senior executives.

  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.

  • Able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese, fluent Mandarin speaking is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
