Reporting to the Senior Manager, the HR Supervisor (Payroll Operations) ensures that the payroll process runs smoothly and is completed with a high level of accuracy. Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead payroll operations in regional markets assigned (Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.) • Manage a team performing end to end payroll processing • Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner • Develop, implement and review operational policies, SOPs and processes • Manage the preparation of all tax obligations including employee income tax and relevant statutory contributions • Engage and assist in payroll system development • Keep up-to-date with labour laws and regulations, and educate team on them • Manage ongoing client relationship • Answer payroll enquiries in a professional manner • Any other duties as assigned from time to time Skills and Attributes: • Bachelor’s Degree • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll • Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation • Team management experience • Problem analysis and solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English/Mandarin/Cantonese) • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy • Honesty, integrity and discretion • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport • Advanced computer software skills in MS Excel & Office and payroll packages
