Human Resources Officer

About the Job
 
  • To maintain and update personnel policy manuals and employee handbooks on a regular basis.
  • To manage recruiting and employee testing programs.
  • To prepare Company contract for outside employment agencies, particularly for hiring of temporary or part-time personnel.
  • To make survey of the work force to determine employee satisfaction with job duties, wage & salary packages and working conditions.
  • To run retaining and educational programs for employees who fall below adequate skill levels.
  • To feedback the needs of training after conducting Exit Interview if necessary.
  • To conduct or direct all internal training programs.
  • To oversee implementation and review of all Hotel personnel policies and procedures, including the content and distribution of the employee handbook, disciplinary and grievance policies, interview, performance appraisals, pension and benefits plans, safety policy, hiring policies, job descriptions and aggressive recruitment of new employees.
  • To keep file of employee locker assignments.
  • To perform and collect payroll duties, such as time and wages computation, absenteeism, vacations and sick time for all hotel staff.
  • To monitor the management of staff dormitories.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor Degree in Business or Human Resources Management.
  • Minimum three to five years’ related experience on Human Resources Department.
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
