A prestige premium food trading company in Southern China is looking for a competent executive for the position of: 

General Manager (Operations)

Responsibilities:

• Analyze market trends, sales performance and current inventory levels to forecast upcoming product demands and potential sales volumes
• Formulate assortment and allocation plan, conduct inventory analysis and management, and set prices for products
• Develop company’s business and conduct business projects in Macau and other Asian cities.
• Identify new marketing trends and consumer needs; establish and maintain good relationship with internal customers and external customers.
• Review production and sales reports and resolve business problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delay and meet future growth.
• Undertake project and ad-hoc tasks as required.

• Degree holder in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years solid purchasing and global sourcing experience in catering/ food trading/ FMCG industry
• Proven experience in product management, procurement, or similar roles within the food industry.
• Experience in supermarkets and department stores is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices, sourcing and procurement techniques
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese.
