The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is currently looking to fill the following vacancy in the Faculty of Religious Studies and Philosophy (FRSP):

Assistant Professor/Associate Professor (Ref. No.: FRSP-AP79)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Perform academic duties, including but not limited to teaching and supervising modules at the undergraduate and master’s levels of the Philosophy Programme in the Catholic tradition;
2. Assist as required in the development and implementation of the overall policies, goals, and objectives of the University;
3. Maintain all forms of confidential, sensitive or personal information in a manner that ensures its privacy and safety;
4. Take all reasonable precautions to protect confidential and classified information from disclosure;
5. Organise and deliver presentations in research seminars, conferences or symposiums;
6. Assist in coordinating students’ activities with the Dean and Head of the Department of Philosophy;
7. Research and publish in high-quality journals in the fields of Religious Studies and Philosophy;
8. Attend scheduled tutoring services, other University curricular meetings and staff development, University promoted business and social functions, as necessary or required, both on- and off- campus.

Requirements:
1. PhD in Philosophy;
2. At least 5 years of full-time teaching experience;
3. Prior experience in a Catholic Institution of higher education is preferable;
4. Proficient in English;
5. Macao ID holder is preferable.

Salary and benefits will be commensurable with the qualifications and experience of candidates.
