The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is currently looking to fill the following vacancy in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH):

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Ref. No.: FAH-L85)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Perform academic duties, including but not limited to teaching Putonghua language modules for different levels, and teaching specialised modules in the Bachelor of Portuguese-Chinese Translation Studies;
2. Work with the Department of Languages and Culture on the development of pedagogical and scientific activities;
3. Contribute to the development of programme revision for the quality assurance and enhancement;
4. Support research activities and foster collaboration with international partnerships.

Requirements:
1. Master’s Degree or above in Putonghua Language Teaching, Language Sciences, or related fields;
2. Minimum of 5 years of language teaching experience;
3. Prior experience as university lecturer is preferred;
4. Proven track record in pedagogical project development;
5. Experience in designing and developing bachelor-level module content;
6. Proficiency in Putonghua and English;
7. Reading and speaking proficiency in both of the official languages of Macao is desirable;
8. Macao ID holder is preferable.

Salary and benefits will be commensurable with the qualifications and experience of candidates.
