Key Responsibilities
1.Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
2.Design and maintain RESTful APls and service integrations.
3.Implement event-driven messaging using MQTT and Kafka.
4.Collaborate with frontend, QA, Product and infrastructure teams.
5.Support IoT integrations with Raspberry Pi-based devices.
6.Troubleshoot distributed systems and optimise performance, reliability and security
7.Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile
1. 5+ years of backend software development experience.
2. Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
3. Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
4. Experience with MQTT messaging is required.
5. Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms.
6. Experience with Docker and Linux environments
7. Experience developing solutions for hospitality, IoT or connected-device environments is highly desirable.
8. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
9. Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
10. Willingness to travel to Macau on a weekly basis as required
